Dover District Council

Along with Ashford, Canterbury, Thanet and Shepway, Dover District Council is one of five authorities in Kent using ACOLAID systems. Having served the needs of Planning and Building Control for 21 years, ACOLAID has now expanded into Land Charges integrating with the Planning Portal, MapInfo GIS and Plantech's document management system, ACOLLATE.

ACOLLATE

Electronic government demands an electronic approach to record keeping. With ACOLLATE, you can store and receive any type of document, file or image you are working on.

Ours is an inclusive approach. If a customer sends you a licence application with a CAD file version of the plan, ACOLLATE can handle it. If one of your enforcement teams uses digital photos during their investigation, the picture and the case record are held together. If you want to scan paper plans and measure them to scale on screen, we have the software to do it.

ACOLLATE has been adopted as the electronic document management system where councils have recognised the need for consistency with all types of electronic files.
